For me, a typical day at Aldrich & Co involves screening CVs, speaking with candidates, getting to know our clients, and supporting consultants to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to end of the recruitment process.

Before Aldrich & Co, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Criminology. I also spent over five years in hospitality, with experience in event coordination, social media and marketing.

The thing I love most about my job is building relationships with candidates, understanding what they’re looking for in their next role, and helping them find the right opportunities. I also love learning about different industries and professions along the way.

In a CV, I’m looking for clarity, consistency and a well-structured layout, correct dates, relevant education and qualifications, clearly laid out career progression and content that reads well grammatically.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me Walking my black Labrador, at the gym, out running, or spending time with friends and family. I also love travelling, reading and baking!
