Do you have at least six - eight years’ experience and a proven track record of identifying new opportunities and increasing revenue in B2B sales, ideally in Financial Services?

Are you well versed in sales, account management and sponsorship delivery?

Our client is an established Financial Services membership organisation who is looking for a confident individual to deliver exciting commercial opportunities to their members.

The position spans sponsorship and sales for commercial events and you’ll work closely with the Director to ensure commercial targets are met and to contribute to strategy.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Scoping opportunities for commercial sponsorship and delegate sales
  • Managing and executing the strategy for commercial events, including budgets
  • Planning sponsor engagements and packages
  • Pre-empting and considering different scenarios in an unpredictable operating environment
  • Proactively engaging with sponsors and other members
  • Fulfilling and delivering sponsorship contracts, working closely with the events team
  • Networking with key stakeholders to represent the organisation
  • Line managing two executives
  • Working across teams to ensure stakeholder needs are identified and delivered

You’ll need to be / have:

  • Six - eight years’ experience of senior sponsorship and delegate sales and account management within a membership, corporate or charitable organisation
  • Experience and knowledge of financial services preferred / proven ability to adapt
  • Client focused with strong relationship management skills
  • A creative thinker with good commercial acumen, skilled at identifying new opportunities
  • An excellent communicator, credible negotiator and influencer with great presentation skills
  • Methodical and organised, a strong forward planner with excellent attention to detail and excellent writing skills
  • Line management experience
  • Strategic, proactive, focused and determined
  • Positive, personable and collaborative
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and confident using CRM, particularly Microsoft Dynamics
