A leading Wealth Manager is looking for a dynamic individual to join a high performing team to develop and deliver strategic communications programmes.  Their focus will be on candidates with a strong Internal Communications background.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement internal and external communications strategies
  • Supporting the CEO on leadership communications, both internally and externally
  • Producing creative communications content; writing, editing and proof reading
  • Responsibility for internal staff communications, including email creation and distribution and intranet development and management
  • Day-to-day management of PR agencies, overseeing all proactive and reactive activity
  • Ensuring all materials and activities are ‘on brand’, ‘on brief’, client-centric and fully compliant
  • Working closely with the marketing managers to ensure digital and social channels leverage communications content
  • Developing and tracking metrics for all communications activities
  • Budget tracking and management

The skills you need to bring:

  • 7+ years’ internal communications and PR experience, including 5+ years in Financial Services
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Experience working directly with demanding and time poor senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing PR and creative agencies
  • Strong track record of implementing integrated communications campaigns
  • Excellent copy writing, editing and proofreading skills and a high attention to detail
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills and the ability to deliver at pace
  • Statistically astute and able to work with data
  • A proactive and accountable approach to work
  • Strong understanding of how to represent a brand and nurture its image successfully
  • Credible, resilient and client focused
  • Self-motivated and collaborative with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CMS, CRM and email distribution
  • Degree or diploma in marketing or communications (or equivalent)
