Are you an exceptional Private PA with experience working in a private household? Are you calm, hugely organised, discreet, and possess strong tech, literacy, and numeracy skills?
A highly regarded Kensington-based family is seeking a professional and proactive Private PA to oversee all administrative and logistical aspects of their household. This is not a role for someone looking to dip their toe in - it requires someone who can take full ownership of the day-to-day operational planning with phenomenal attention to detail.
The household is supported by nannies and a housekeeper - your focus will be entirely on PA duties, not hands-on childcare or housekeeping.
Hours 9 – 6 in-person
Key Responsibilities:
Diary & Scheduling Management
- Oversee complex diaries
- Plan and coordinate term-time, holiday, and half-term schedules well in advance
- Liaise with schools, tutors, and mentors, and manage all associated admin
- Book restaurants, social events and maintain seamless scheduling flow
Household Operations
- Manage HR records and leave tracking for household staff
- Handle household mail and delegate errands where necessary
- Oversee household standards, check cleaning schedules and completion
- Manage digital admin: scanning, shredding, printer upkeep
Travel & Holiday Coordination
- Plan and book family holidays including flights, hotels, activities, and staff travel
- Ensure meticulous itinerary planning, cost-checking, and diary alignment
Purchasing & Inventory
- Manage monthly restocking and consolidate orders
- Oversee online purchases and returns
- Maintain inventory levels and monitor household supplies
Financial Administration
- Track and process invoices, reconcile petty cash
- Work within household budgets
Team Coordination & Oversight
- Provide clear follow-up and feedback to household staff
- Conduct regular meetings to ensure cohesion and high standards
- Observe how tasks are done - not just whether they’re completed
About You:
- Experienced in a similar Private PA or Family Office role
- A master organiser with impeccable attention to detail
- Calm under pressure with a naturally ordered, methodical approach
- Discreet, professional and trustworthy
- Highly literate and tech-savvy
- Proactive and capable of managing a fast-moving household environment
