Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step within a highly respected Wealth & Investment Management firm?
We are seeking a technically strong, client-focused Paraplanner (Associate level) to support our Wealth Managers in delivering high-quality, compliant financial planning advice to a dedicated book of UK and International private clients.

As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering robust wealth planning solutions while ensuring advice is clear, well-documented, and fully compliant. You will act as a subject matter expert across wealth planning wrappers and products and provide critical technical support to advisers.
Key Responsibilities:
Wealth Planning
- Produce client suitability reports and annual suitability review letters
- Deliver compliant wealth planning solutions for UK & International clients
- Conduct client cash flow modelling and financial analysis
- Review client risk profiling and ensure appropriate recommendations
- Provide technical research and case guidance to advisers
- Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on agreed actions
- Ensure clients fully understand key features of advice provided
Client Management
- Communicate confidently with clients via meetings, calls, and email
- Support onboarding processes alongside Client Executives
- Manage withdrawal call-backs and client asset transfer requests
- Liaise with incumbent custodians to retrieve transfer data
- Provide regular updates to advisers and clients throughout onboarding
Administration & Process
- Assist with complex account opening documentation
- Maintain accurate meeting and call file notes
- Contribute to internal projects and business process improvements
Professional Development
- Continue progression toward Chartered and/or Certified Financial Planner status
- Attend industry events, seminars, and internal training sessions
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of paraplanning processes
About You
You are technically proficient, detail-oriented, and confident supporting advisors in delivering first-class financial planning advice.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a Paraplanner or similar role
- Diploma Level 4 Qualified (or higher)
- Strong understanding of the financial planning process and compliance requirement
- Experience writing suitability and technical reports
- Proficient in financial planning tools, modelling software, and back-office systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, and deliver under pressure
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience working with UK & International private clients
- Aiming for progression toward Chartered or Certified Financial Planner status
