Do you bring strong financial administration skills, exceptional organisation and the ability to manage information, processes and priorities with precision and discretion?
Are you confident handling bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and payments, while also providing seamless PA support including travel and general administration?
Our client is seeking a highly competent, versatile and trustworthy PA / Bookkeeper to support two principals across several businesses and personal interests. This is a broad and responsible role offering real variety, autonomy and long-term scope. Predominantly remote, with at least monthly visits to offices in Kent and London.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Managing bookkeeping across multiple property, advisory and estate entities
- Processing payroll, pension contributions and VAT returns with accuracy and attention to detail
- Preparing and organising financial information for accountants and annual reporting
- Allocating expenses across multiple business streams in line with agreed internal structures
- Overseeing bill payments with appropriate authorisation and maintaining clear financial records
- Recording and reconciling transactions from bank statements
- Managing invoicing, payment tracking and subscription oversight
- Supporting accountants with bookkeeping and compliance requirements
- Maintaining orderly paper and electronic filing systems across business and personal matters
- Coordinating travel arrangements including flights, trains, accommodation and car hire
- Providing occasional diary and administrative support
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Anticipating needs, keeping processes on track and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
The skills you need to bring:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and basic accounting
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Google Workspace
- Confidence managing payments, reconciliations and financial record-keeping across multiple entities
- Experience supporting senior individuals with personal and business administration
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
