Are you a recent graduate with a genuine interest in developing a career in financial services marketing – or do you already have 12-18 months marketing experience?

Are you particularly interested  in financial service marketing and do you have a desire to keep learning and developing?

Are you a strong writer who knows their grammar, with a keen eye for proof reading?

Our client is a looking for a confident, productive and collaborative marketing executive to support their day-to-day marketing activities in a content-focused and varied role, working as part of a high performing team.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Working closely with the team to deliver the marketing plan
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content
  • Ensuring all marketing materials are client-centric, compliant and up-to-date
  • Updating and creating new content for email marketing, blogs, social media, brochureware and client communications
  • Updating content on the firm-wide intranet
  • Working with business owners to ensure marketing material is relevant
  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager to develop and track metrics and success criteria
  • Assisting with internal communications and PR activities, including social media posts, coordination of press commentary and reporting
  • Acting as brand ambassador internally and externally at all times

The skills and experience you need to bring:

  • Some experience or interest in the financial services industry, ideally within Wealth or Asset Management, working with affluent/HNWI or within IFA marketing
  • Strong MS Office desktop software skills (experience of SharePoint helpful)
  • Experience using social media platforms and scheduling software (experience of Hootsuite helpful)
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organise, working to tight deadlines
  • Desire to work with integrity, care and diligence
  • Can do attitude, working collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team orientated environment
