Do you have experience across finance, HR or business operations, ideally with some people management under your belt?

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning a process from start to finish?

Can you juggle multiple priorities without losing accuracy, and use your own initiative when things get busy?

Our client is an award-winning Asset Management firm, managing over £23bn in assets.  They have a collaborative, high-performing culture and are looking for a proactive Finance & People Operations Specialist to support both finance operations and people processes as the business continues to grow.

This newly redesigned role is varied and hands-on, sitting at the heart of the business and offering genuine ownership across two very different but connected areas.

If you're looking for a role where your work has real, visible impact on how the firm runs day-to-day, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

  • Managing fund invoicing across approximately 30 funds, including preparation, tracking and account queries
  • Processing supplier invoices and payments, including coding, approvals, Xero entry and payment execution
  • Supporting quarterly cost invoicing and liaising with outsourced bookkeeping providers
  • Managing day-to-day banking across entities, currencies and platforms, including balances, mandates and corporate cards
  • Executing approved multi-currency payments across GBP, USD and CHF
  • Supporting month-end close, including bank reconciliations, and assisting with audit schedules and auditor queries
  • Supporting the Front of House team and working with building management on office facilities
  • Coordinating internship, graduate and junior recruitment processes, from scheduling through to onboarding
  • Supporting junior-level performance management and HR policy review cycles
  • Coordinating the annual benefits renewal and compensation review process, including provider liaison and salary review letters
  • Managing regulatory reference requests and maintaining accurate, confidential records
  • Supporting DEI and people initiatives, such as Taster Days

The skills you need to bring:

  • 7+ years' experience across finance, HR, business or office operations, ideally including people management
  • Strong finance operations experience, including invoicing, payments, debtor management and multi-currency banking
  • Confident use of Xero and Excel
  • Sound judgement and experience handling confidential information
  • A detail-oriented, accurate and proactive approach
  • A collaborative, flexible attitude and the ability to support across different operational areas
