Our client is a leading global investment fund, seeking an outstanding Desk Assistant to support dynamic investment managers and traders. This is a varied and impactful role within a collaborative team, offering real exposure and responsibility. They are looking for someone proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused.
Office-based, Monday to Friday, typically 11am–8pm.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Managing complex calendars, travel logistics, visas, accommodation & expenses
- Monitoring inboxes, actioning or flagging critical emails and maintaining clear communication flow
- Coordinating meetings and preparing documentation
- Drafting correspondence and preparing/distributing agendas, reports and board packs
- Liaising confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Acting as a key point of contact for the team and clients
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Organising offsites, conferences, and events
- Managing contracts and legal documentation
- Assisting with HR coordination including interviews and onboarding
- Supporting budget planning and financial tracking for internal initiatives
- Supporting strategic projects and tracking milestones
- Investment research projects
The skills you need to bring:

- Your approach is no job is too small or too big to handle
- 5+ years’ experience as an Assistant within investment management, investment banking, management consulting, legal or similarly fast-paced professional services environments
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A driven, energetic and resourceful self-starter who takes initiative
- Strong attention to detail with a consistently high standard of work
- A collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently
- A highly professional approach, with absolute discretion and commitment to confidentiality
- A positive mindset and strong cultural awareness within an international environment
