Are you incredibly organised and committed to delivering events of the highest standard?

Are you a confident communicator with experience managing financial systems and budgets?

A prestigious venue in the City of London is looking for a smart and professional Events Coordinator to manage the detailed organisation of events, from high profile corporate events to large charity fundraisers and concerts.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing guidance about what the venue can offer
  • Facilitating and coordinating events within the venue
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Producing briefing notes and other documentation for each event
  • Ensuring risk assessments are in place and health and safety requirements adhered to
  • Managing costs and budgets
  • Maintaining accurate client information on CRM system and diary booking system
  • Overseeing the delivery of events

The skills you need to bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience of organising corporate / commercial events in a professional environment, ideally within a venue
  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, deadline driven with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive with the ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Appreciation for historic venues will be helpful
