Are you a confident communicator with experience managing financial systems and budgets?
A prestigious venue in the City of London is looking for a smart and professional Events Coordinator to manage the detailed organisation of events, from high profile corporate events to large charity fundraisers and concerts.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing guidance about what the venue can offer
- Facilitating and coordinating events within the venue
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Producing briefing notes and other documentation for each event
- Ensuring risk assessments are in place and health and safety requirements adhered to
- Managing costs and budgets
- Maintaining accurate client information on CRM system and diary booking system
- Overseeing the delivery of events
The skills you need to bring:
- 2+ years’ experience of organising corporate / commercial events in a professional environment, ideally within a venue
- Budget management experience
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, deadline driven with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent attention to detail
- Proactive with the ability to think on your feet
- Excellent IT skills
- Appreciation for historic venues will be helpful
