If organising banquets and ceremonies for international dignitaries, lectures from political and business leaders and other City based events appeals, this could be the role for you. This is an exciting and rewarding role within a team based at one of the most prestigious City venues. An interest in the City, its history, leadership structure and purpose will be an advantage, along with previous corporate and public event experience.


  • Being the first point of contact for enquiries
  • Organising and delivering a variety of events, ensuring goals and objectives are met
  • Responsible for all logistics inclusive of guest list and seating plan management
  • Budget management and reconciliation, ensuring best rates in all areas
  • Preparing briefing notes and correspondence for each event, including post event feedback
  • Maintaining event files, ensuring paper work is complete prior to the event
  • Working collaboratively with other teams within the office and undertaking any special projects and required duties
  • Ad hoc duties


  • Confident and ambitious candidate with previous event experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and high quality written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the utmost discretion, tact and confidentiality
  • Reliable, flexible and able to manage heavy workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy are crucial
