We are looking for an ad-hoc facilities assistant to cover holiday and sickness when required. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a really interesting and varied role and develop your skillset.  You’ll be a keen administrator who is looking for a hands on role. You will need that “can-do” attitude, you’ll be the first point of contact within a company so will need to be always on form and be extremely professional.


  • Collecting, delivering and franking internal and external mail
  • Ordering and checking international and local couriers
  • Maintaining and checking office stationery supplies and machines
  • Supplier relations, checking delivery notes/invoices against orders
  • Ensuring a log of archiving is kept and updated when required
  • Collecting confidential shredding and checking destruction
  • Liaising with staff and management regarding any queries
  • Assisting the facilities manager in ad hoc duties
  • Any other required ad hoc duties


  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Previous archiving experience and ability to use franking machine
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Highly organised with fantastic time management skills
  • Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with all levels
  • Ability to manage a heavy and varied workload
