Description

Capable, bright Marketing Associate needed to support the Head of Marketing at this leading independent investment manager. Must be able work autonomously and take initiative where necessary to deliver the marketing strategy and goals of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Holding responsibility for delivery of specific elements of the marketing plans, managing their continuity, being the first point of contact, and executing marketing tasks in the absence of the Head of Marketing.
  • Management of CRM and other databases, segmentation, reporting, effective use of data
  • Website and social media content management and development
  • Digital marketing –driving relevant audiences, understanding targets and updating posts
  • Managing marketing activity support for target group mailings, report collation and analysis
  • Event planning, support and co-ordination, attendance and post event reporting
  • Integration and development of marketing communications tool for EDM
  • Supporting the creation and development of marketing plans - execution, monitoring and measurement of marketing activity
  • Working with the PR team to maximize the brand awareness of all the FuMs

Requirements

  • Natural authority when managing all relationships – strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce good copy and proof read marketing material
  • ‘Can do’ attitude - ability and flexibility to work in a team and across teams
  • Preparedness to provide hands on support in preparation for and at marketing events
  • Good time management, administrative and prioritisation skills
  • Effective upward management skills
  • Good ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Experience with databases and CRM systems
  • Web editing knowledge across WordPress/Joomla/Drupel
  • Ability to understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved.
  • Be aware of the Operational Risks associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of these risks and the relevant controls.
