Great opportunity for a Processing Clerk to join an innovative global insurance company. Based in Bedford, the ideal candidate will be dynamic with a strong attention to detail. You will play a vital role in their purchase ledger department and be supporting the Senior Clerk and Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices
  • Audit expenses, ensuring compliance of VAT rules
  • Audit review
  • Ensuring agreed SLA’s are met
  • Work with the Finance Management team to identify and drive continuous improvement in processes
  • Be the first point of contact for claimant enquiries

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within purchase ledger/expenses desirable
  • Strong knowledge of HMRC compliance
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Highly numerate
  • Relevant accountancy/bookkeeping qualifications highly advantageous
