After a four year career break, I have decided it’s time to re-enter the workplace, re-engage the old grey matter and escape the School Gate.

With over 15 years’ experience in financial services it seemed a good opportunity to retrieve my black book and seek a new challenge, but where to start and how interested would they be in me?  I no longer had the corporate autonomy or the relevant experience that the Front Office required perhaps?  As I worked my way through my Banking network it was suggested that I contact Emily Aldrich. “Emily Aldrich?”  I heard myself shout down the line “I know her!” and within five minutes I was talking to Emily who answered the phone with equal excitement.

Twelve years previously when I was Head of Sales Support in the Private Bank at Credit Suisse, Emily was my go-to person for all  Assistant Hires.  Between us, Emily and I had successfully placed many young, enthusiastic and able candidates into the Bank; all of whom I trained, coached, mentored and navigated to various dizzy heights within the Corporation.

As then, I found Emily’s professionalism and enthusiasm electric and within minutes my confidence was restored and I was scheduled to spend a week with her team on their Returner Programme.  The team at Aldrich have been most welcoming (and forgiving!) as I relaunch myself back into the work routine, new systems, new compliance and witness different interview techniques.

Each Aldrich Consultant is highly experienced and knowledgeable, they have their own unique style but their approach is collaborative and all candidate information is shared in order to find the perfect job/candidate fit.

I feel that I am in safe hands as I try to find the perfect role for my Big Return to the City.
